Architecting the intelligence layer for Indian schools.
We are building systems from scratch that must work for millions of users in low-connectivity environments across India. That is a hard problem. We think that is exciting. If you do too, keep reading.
Founding Full Stack Engineer (Intern to FTE)
The Role
You will be one of the first engineers on the product. You will own what you build. Concretely, you will be architecting the intelligence layer across all screens: the web dashboard that gives organizational decision-makers real-time operational intelligence, and the mobile apps that serve users in the field across Tier 2 and Tier 3 India, at times with intermittent or no internet connectivity.
This is not a simple product. The constraints are real: low-end Android devices, 3G connections that drop mid-session, users who cannot afford for the app to lose their data. Building for India at this layer is a different engineering discipline than building for a MacBook on fiber. We think that is what makes it interesting.
What You Will Build
- Cross-Platform Mobile Engineering: Build high-performance apps using React Native (Expo) or Flutter. Architect offline-first data systems so users never lose work when connectivity drops.
- Real-Time Intelligence Dashboards: Build data-heavy admin dashboards in Next.js that handle large datasets without sacrificing performance. Create interactive visualizations (Recharts/D3).
- Backend Architecture: Write robust APIs (Node.js/Python) and design multi-tenant PostgreSQL architecture where client data is structurally isolated.
- AI-Native Velocity: Fluently use AI coding assistants (like Cursor) to ship at the speed an early-stage startup requires.
Requirements
- Mobile: React Native (Expo) or Flutter. Must be able to deploy to both platforms from one codebase.
- Web: React.js, Next.js, Tailwind CSS. Experience with data-heavy grids is critical.
- Backend: Node.js or Python (FastAPI/Django). Deep understanding of RESTful API design.
- Database: PostgreSQL is mandatory. Complex queries, indexing, and scale performance.
- AI Tools: Proficiency with Cursor or equivalent AI assistants is mandatory.
Perks & Conversion Path
- 🚀 Personal Project Fund: ₹5,000/mo reimbursed for your own side projects (AWS bills, APIs).
- 🛠️ Premium Tools: Full access to Cursor Pro and other paid tools.
- 🧠 Elite Mentorship: Work directly with ISI/IIT alumni and former quant researchers.
- 📈 Conversion Path: Successful internships convert to long-term contracts or full-time roles based on performance.
How to Apply
No cover letter. Answer the three questions below directly via email. We are looking for evidence that you have actually thought about these problems and have real opinions on trade-offs. Send your application to hello@zeqo.in with the subject line Full Stack Intern -- [Your Name] -- [Strongest Skill in 3 Words].
Q1. Monorepo Architecture
We need a feature that works across Web, Android, and iOS while sharing maximum logic. Walk us through your codebase architecture: what you would share, what stays platform-specific, and why. We want to see how you think through trade-offs.
Q2. The Offline Mid-Session Problem
A user in a Tier 2 city is mid-session on our mobile app when their internet drops completely. They continue working for 20 minutes offline. When connectivity returns, everything they did needs to sync correctly, with no data lost and no conflicts. How do you architect this local storage strategy and sync logic?
Q3. Your Best Work
Link us to your strongest project (mobile or web). Tell us the hardest actual bug or architectural problem you solved in it. Not the most impressive feature, the hardest problem.
UI/UX Designer & Flutter Developer
The Role
We're looking for someone genuinely strong in both UI/UX design and Flutter development - not necessarily years of work experience, but real depth: you've designed beautiful interfaces and actually built them in code.
What You Will Build
- End-to-End Ownership: Take features from rough wireframes to polished Figma mocks to production Flutter code.
- Design Systems: Build and maintain a cohesive design system and component library across our apps.
- Micro-Interactions: Implement smooth, delightful animations that make the app feel alive and premium.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience: This is deliberately open to freshers and early-career engineers. What matters is depth, not tenure.
- Figma to Flutter: You can design a beautiful screen in Figma and perfectly replicate it in Flutter.
- Visual Polish: A strong eye for typography, spacing, and modern UI trends.
How to Apply
Send your resume and portfolio (Figma links, App Store links, GitHub, etc.) to hello@zeqo.in or WhatsApp +91-9136734595. We'd rather see a live app you designed and built than a polished resume.
Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (LLM Routing)
The Role
We're looking for someone genuinely strong on Google Cloud Platform. You'll design and build Zeqo's multi-provider LLM router - the internal system that decides which model handles each request, optimizes for cost/latency, and aggressively reduces token spend through prompt caching.
What You Will Build
- Unified LLM Router: Abstract Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, and self-hosted model endpoints behind a single internal API.
- Intelligent Routing: Route by task type, cost ceiling, latency budget, or model capability.
- Cost Observability: Per-request cost attribution, cost dashboards, and alerting on spend anomalies.
- Rate-Limit Management: Own quota management across providers and GCP projects.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience: This is deliberately open to freshers and early-career engineers.
- GCP Depth: Demonstrated through projects or certifications (Cloud Run, IAM, Vertex AI).
- Cost-Conscious Mindset: You enjoy understanding why a system is expensive, not just making it work.
How to Apply
Send your resume and any GCP-related projects to hello@zeqo.in or WhatsApp +91-9136734595. Please include answers to the technical questions listed on our BeBee posting.
